• Do you need care at home?

  • We provide personal care

  • We provide companionship

We are homecare specialists operating in South London and Surrey

We provide personal care and companionship to a full range of ages from young children through to the elderly. This enables you to remain at home within your own familiar surroundings.

Our care workers are highly skilled, fully trained and above all friendly,  providing a range of services including: personal care, companionship, cooking or preparing meals, administering medication and light housework.

Your first point of contact will be with our care team, all of whom are or have been carers and therefore understand the needs of both carers and the person they care for.

Our staff are trained to care for people with a wide range of health conditions, from Parkinson’s to Alzheimer’s and autism to palliative care. Each staff member receives specialist training in dementia and autism, along with first aid, food hygiene, and health and safety. This means they are able to cope with the varying needs of the people they care for.

Our homecare service is flexible, in order to meet your needs and is available every day and night of the year except Bank Holidays.

The first step is to arrange a home-visit so we can carry out an assessment of your care needs.

We employ over 100 people in a range of jobs requiring high levels of knowledge, skill and passion to work with people with varying care support needs.

How we help David and Louise

Louise Hale is a full time carer for her husband, David, who has progressive multiple sclerosis, is registered blind and a full time wheelchair user. Help for Carers provides Mrs Hale with regular breaks from her caring responsibilities which enables her to leave the house and have essential “me” time for shopping, socialising and doing her gardening.

Help for Carers have a team of Care Support Workers who carry out several visits each week to Mr and Mrs Hale. They each take on the role of caring for David in Louise’s absence and also provide him with companionship, sharing his interests such as watching TV and films, completing crosswords and reading aloud.
