‘Caring’ for someone covers lots of different things, like helping with washing, dressing or eating, taking them to regular appointments or keeping them company when they feel lonely or anxious.
At Help for Carers Croydon we recognise that every carer’s circumstances are different and we treat each carer as an individual.
You can have a Carer Assessment even if the person you care for does not get any help from the council.
A Carer Assessment will help us to look at the different ways that caring affects your life. It will work out how you can continue to do the things that are important to you and your family.
Carer Assessments are free to adult Croydon carers who are caring for another adult.
If you would like a Carer Assessment to find out what support may be available please contact us.
