What we offer
We reimburse travel expenses and provide full training, support and a friendly working environment whatever your role. We are keen to enhance and develop your skills and receive your input into our projects and work, ensuring you get the most out of your volunteering time with us.
Your volunteer journey with us will begin with the following recruitment process which is the same for all volunteers:
First you will need to send in an application form for one of our volunteering roles. Or you can talk to us if you would like more information or have problems filling out the form.
If you fit the bill you will be invited to interview
If we both agree that the role is right for you, we will write to your references which you would have given on your application form and send off for a DBS (if applicable to the role).
Subject to all documents being OK we will invite you to an induction, which could be one-to-one when you start your role or in a group.
Subject to the role you have applied for we may invite you to training after your induction or this maybe ongoing.
You will receive a volunteer hand book and our policies to support you with your volunteer journey
Though-out your role we will ask for your feedback and there will be on-going supervision and support, training, events, workshops and meetings you can attend.
When you leave, we may ask you to fill out an exit questionnaire, to get feedback on your volunteering experience
